Combat Charlotte is a weekend gathering of the nation’s top leaders of the Young Republican National Federation on July 13 – 14, 2014 to meet and develop new ideas on how the Republican Party can engage young people.

Folding this ever-important demographic into the Republican Party’s Victory system will be a key focus, as well as successfully engaging and energizing Republican and Independent young people as “boots on the ground” into targeted areas that will impact North Carolina in the fall. In direct competition to the Democratic National Convention being held just a few weeks later, North Carolina’s place on the political center stage is historic.

Combat Charlotte is the spin-off of the recently cancelled YRPAC. YRPAC was unfortunately cancelled due to constraints beyond our control including a struggling job market and an unemployment rate unseen in our lifetimes (WHERE ARE ALL THE JOBS?).

Being true to their principles, the North Carolina Federation of Young Professional Republicans (NCFYPR) has scaled back and adjusted the focus of the meeting. Combat Charlotte will bring together the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) Leadership, as well as numerous Young Republican activists, in a deployment style event, to partner with the RNC Victory grassroots plan to promote the Romney for President and McCrory for Governor campaigns. By doing so, the YRNF and the NCFYPR maintain their true commitment to Republican victory in November.
