After falling into significant disrepair, the Illinois Governor’s Mansion re-opended this July to rave reviews following a two-year privately funded renovation. First Lady Diana Rauner spearheaded the renovation and creation of a first-of-its kind art exhibit, Art of Illinois, featuring more than 100 pieces of art created by Illinois artists, including more than 20 pieces loaned from private collections.
Come hear First Lady Diana Rauner, Mansion Curator Justin Blanford and Art of Illinois co-curator Dr. Wendy Greenhouse tell their story of this momentous project. All members and their guests are welcome to attend this informative presentation.
The event begins with an 11:30 a.m. reception followed by lunch and the program at noon. The price is $45 per person inclusive. Please note: the Club adheres to a NO denim or athletic wear dress code policy. Please share this policy with your guests.
