8th Annual 5K Run to End Veteran Homelessness with Team Patlak Republicans
8th Annual A Safe Haven 5K
As most of you know, I support the A Safe Haven Foundation, a local charity that assists in the recovery and rehabilitation of needy veterans with the ultimate objective of ending veteran homelessness.
Once again I am writing to announce the A Safe Haven 5k Race for Homeless Veterans. Last year Team Patlak Republicans raised over $9,000 for A Safe Haven and had the largest team participating with one-hundred twenty-one runners and walkers and we would like to top that success this year.
Please click on the links below and review instructions on how to register on-line for people wishing to run or walk in the 5K. If you’d like to make a contribution (you can do both), please you make your check out to “A Safe Haven” and mail to me at 113 Berkshire Drive, Wheeling, IL 60090 or contribute on-line by following the link below. Also, use the promo code PATLAK to save $5 on your registration. I would also encourage you to review the A Safe Haven website (asafehaven.org) to get some information about the fine work that this organizations does for the homeless, especially homeless Vets. All of the money raised by our team goes directly to veteran programs.
Thank you for generously considering this event and the work of A Safe Haven.
